It was recommended I sleep in a recliner because I’m not able to lay on my side or a supine position. Unfortunately I don’t have a recliner so I took a chance and tried this. It has been a godsend. This wedge pillow keeps me at the perfect angle and height as comfortably as you can expect to be after a major surgery. The smaller detachable piece makes it easy to find the right placement for my head and neck. I would definitely describe it as comfortably firm. As a bonus, my sleep apnea and acid reflux have improved since I’ve been using this pillow.
