Using for different application.** A: Have used Manna Pro products for decades - especially Calf-Manna for show horses. For this grit, depending for what other application you are using - you can always scoop some out and rinse it. Whatever fines are in the bag is good for the ground. I use it with alpines or succulents so it doesn’t matter if there are fines. And it isn’t dusty like it will blow up in your face or anything. But as I say, you can always dump in wheel barrel and rinse off and let dry if using for something besides garden or poultry. There are other brands called Cherry Stone (manufactured TCC Materials) is a quartzite product - little rosy color - have 4 sizes (1/26”-3/8”)and one size called Traction instead of destructive de-icing salts. See the TCC Materials website. They talk about people also using it in aquariums, crafts, etc because of the color. Never used it but certainly have Manna Pro’s grit. Get out, visit your local feed and farm supply store.
