**Q: How long are the fish sticks? My arowana is 18" long,**
A: The sticks are about 1/2 inch...may want to try finding bigger food. My 12inch arowana loved them though

**Q: How many per serving for an arowana? Also how many times a day? My arowana is 6in. long.**
A: Hello,The general rule of thumb in how to feed is 2-3X a day and only as much as your fish will eat in about 3-4 minutes.If you are changing foods your arrowana may balk at first so start slow with just a couple of sticks to make sure he will eat it and keep trying until he takes to it.Then apply the 3-4 minute rule.I can not say this enough times....people have a tendency to overfeed their fish.When you overfeed not only does your fish produce more ammonia which will eventually become nitrate but the food that goes uneaten winds up in your gravel and becomes nitrate too.Not to mention turning your substrate into a cesspool.

**Q: Would this be good for a 6/7 inch bala 'shark'?**
A: It's been a while since I've had a bala shark.  These would probably be fine, though I believe I'd rotate this with other foods to be sure there's nutritional variety.

**Q: Is this stick float or sink?**
A: Hello Richard,This is a floating stick designed for top feeding carnivores.However as with all floating food eventually it will absorb water and sink.

My flowerhorn Gino did not originally like these. He would only eat bloodworms and live mealworms for about a month after I first purchased him. I have tried many different types of pellets. It’s been 3 months, I stopped the bloodworms all together (not a nutritious diet for him to be on long term) and I offered these sticks once in a while along with Cichlid Bug Bites, freeze dried brine shrimp, dried mealworms, and frozen shrimp. He just recently started to pick these sticks out over all the other food types. And now he’s obsessed! They are super easy to clean up, stay afloat, and are big enough for him to spot. They do not cause the water to get cloudy and the amount you get is quite a bit. Especially if you only have one medium-large size cichlid. Read the directions and offer these once every day. One day I skipped his morning feeding so he devoured these at his afternoon feeding. Since then he has loved them! 10/10 recommend!
