Good Chamber, Limited Vacuum Pressure
The vacuum chamber seems good enough. The black pump is good. The attainable vacuum is about 1/3 atmosphere (very rough estimate), which is good for some experiments, but it would certainly be much more interesting and useful to be able to achieve a much better vacuum level. The inside diameter of the chamber is 12cm, and the height is 7.2 cm. The vacuum level can be achieved in about 10 to 20 strokes (pull-push) of the pump. An average strength man should not have trouble doing it in 20 seconds, or less if in a real hurry.
