I would say get a large. The small is more for ladies. Also it doesn’t need to tuck right in to your wetsuit. Just make sure the little protruding piece goes down the back. And you need to Vaseline up too. I swam a 10k with it and had ZERO chaffe, not even a tiny dot. It’s worth the money. **Q: Somewhere it says that the product is suitable for use with Vaseline. How does that work?** A: Hi, only if a rash appears even when wearing the protector should you consider using vaseline. It has only been reported to us in very long swims, but some swimmers do use it together with vaseline and it does not affect the protector in any negative way. **Q: What would the suggestion be for a 35cm / 13.75 neck ....? I had suffered continual problems with a rash, despite copious amounts of anti-rash lub', on the back of my neck after switching to Winter sea swimming with an additional thermal layer underneath my wetsuit (never have an issue with the wetsuit on its on). What a difference, with a little bit of anti - chaf lubrication on my neck, no more rash.
