I like the hinged branches because it allowed me to push this tree up against a wall. We don't have a lot of space and I probably should have purchased the slim version of this tree, but I knew the hubs would be happier with a fuller look so up against a wall it is. I purchased a Christmas tree storage bag, too, and will try to get the tree back into the original box and keep the box in the bag just to make it easier to put up on a shelf in the garage. This 6' tree came in 3 sections and was super easy to assemble. There are plenty of lights, leaving no dead or dark areas. The mix of "flat" needles and more realistic ones is nice. Makes for a fuller, more natural look. Would it be nice to have a built-in timer for the lights? Yes. Would it be nice to pick one of the several light settings and have it remembered so when the lights come on it goes to that setting? Yes. Nice to haves, not have to haves. I should have gone a little wider, but that is my fault. Nice tree for the price. Easy set up and fluffing took about an hour. I would recommend. There are different lights and patterns you can choose. I prefer the solid white. You have to go through all the settings to shut it off though. So it is easier just to unplug it to shut it off.
