They're smart, come in a great useful bag and they're tough. I use them as thigh straps and they can shift serious weights without slipping or the Velcro ripping. The D rings are nice and tough too, not flimsy metal. The fluffy lining makes them really comfortable - also useful when using heavy weights; they don't cut into you. A great fit as ankle straps or doubled up for thigh straps. I don't know what the fuss was about the smell: they smelt briefly of new gym equipment when I took them out of the bag (what's not to like about that?). The smell dissipated after the first use and isn't an issue at all. Easy to use and great value for money.

I made the mistake of buying cheap straps in the past off eBay, which didn't last 2 months because the Velcro gave out. I love these and so far can't fault them. They're smart, come in a great useful bag and they're tough. I use them as thigh straps and they can shift serious weights without slipping or the Velcro ripping.
