The marble base is very fancy with white and grey, and the silver colored bars are sturdy and movable. I bought 2 of these and both my husband and I found them handy to hang 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel on each one. They are VERY sturdy! It has been a while now and they have not tipped over AT ALL!! Reason for buying: we are in a rental, so we can't hang our own towel racks. The bathroom weirdly had none! We tried an over the door rack, but that just made us drip water on the floor, as we tried to get to it.
