I'm a warm sleeper these days and the cotton cover on my new weighted blanket was just too hot. I did some research about cooler fabrics and bamboo kept coming up. This cover definitely lives up to the hype of bamboo for me. It is soft against the skin and feels a little silky. The zipper is long and makes it easy to put on, and corner ties for securing. The color and sheen are beautiful and the texture is nice. It seems like it will hold up well. I like that it has a zipper closure and it's nice that it ties all the way around, including the sides. I don't know, though if it's the material (it's definitely a slicker, satiny feel) or if it's a little too big for the blanket, but the cover definitely moves around. The blanket doesn't move because it's tied, but the fabric gets wrinkled and pulls, especially while in use... it's very baggy. The blanket has to be pulled and played with to keep it looking smooth. You can see in the photo how far onto the blanket the edge of the cover flops over.
