These Acurit are lightweight and thinner than my old pair of scissors. Don't expect to get a $30 pair of scissors when you get these $7 pair of Acurit scissors. These thin Acurit scissors do the job and that is the important thing. I have only used them a half dozen times and they work well. I am right handed and these scissors work well in my right hand, even though they are left hand scissors.
