If it's something that will be fairly lightly used then you can definitely get away without sealing the paint at all. If it's a high traffic project that's likely to be bumped or spilled on a lot, sealing it with something like our Clear Coat or Tough Coat is a good idea. **Q: Would this be good for bathroom cabinets?** A: Yes you can definitely use our paint for bathroom cabinets! Since bathrooms typically see a lot of moisture, I'd recommend sealing the paint with either our Clear Coat or Tough Coat. Happy painting! **Q: Is this thick enough to use to repaint stair spindles on a hand rail? They are wood, and regular paint is not thick enough.** A: I would be confident in saying yes you can. Just don't put it on so thick it has no option but to run! I painted the spindles on my chairs. The first one ran so I wiped it off and did all in lighter coats. I did 2 lighter coats and it worked great. BE SURE you seal it though. It is wonderful and looks great but WILL scratch off. My table top suffered a running cat being chased by my other cat! Cat one skidded then jumped off. I got to sand it down a bit then promptly put polyurethane on it...3 coats. No more cat scratches. I love this paint! **Q: Hi! I am painting a wood piece with this but want to use leftover for a small metal project (desk legs).
