Although i don't use them to charge as we have normal laptops and use then to extend the peripherals, network connection and two additional displays through the USB 3.0 connectivity. I use these all over our office and they work very well. I would also recommend a VESA mount so you can tidy the cabled behind a monitor if your using it in a desk set up. Hope this helps. **Q: Can the dual monitors connected to hdmi & dvi extend desktop and show different output? or are they only mirror mode?** A: I use it to extend my laprop screen on Windows10, you need to do it in the Windows settings but it works fine and I gel two different screens. **Q: It sounds like this doesn't support displayport mst, which would allow you to connect multiple (chained) monitors to a single dp port - is that right?** A: That's right No Display Port. **Q: So basicly i could just plugin this in on my desktop with usb 3.0 then i can connect my monitor to that dock , my logitech c922 camera etc and it work** A: It depends. My new laptop did not recognise either of my HDMI monitors and neither Kensington or HP technical support were able to solve the problem even though it did work with another laptop. The only issue I have faced so far is that I cannot play any DRM contents like Netflix or Amazon Prime Videos on my secondary displays via the dock.
