I learned to take off the watch when I sleep because for some reason I think it was tracking movements and when I'd wake up I already had a few hundred steps - so I circumvented that issue by taking it off at night (you also can just reset it when you get out of bed) --- I used to rely on my iphone as a pedometer - I don't want to add more bluetooth or rubber bands on my writs -- this is PERFECT if you're looking for a non-bluetooth, non applewatch type of pedometer...easy to read...looks nice.
