After fitted, the device worked great. Tested it with the key turned to 1, which activates power to the radio and windows etc.Shortly afterwards, I decided to make a journey so I started up the engine. Then this loud high pitched sound played once the ignition was on/and or engine. Throughout the entire time of my journey, it was such a headache.I know for 100% that the device has been wired up correctly, everything works as it should except for this loud ringing sound when the ignition or engine is on.I cannot bare to listen to the music, so I've had to reinstall the old device for the time being.Also; after the item was delivered there was condensation build up in the glass, in front of the display and around certain areas.Not sure if I have a faulty product or this device doesn't work with my Golf. The only good part about this product is the easy installation but it’s no good when the product doesn’t actually work!! My friend who works with cars all day who knows exactly what he’s doing installed it for me and when we had it installed it worked once and then didn’t work when we tried to switch the car on again! This item is just a scam for money! Don’t waste your time. It doesn’t have Bluetooth as whenever you try and search for a signal nothing shows and the aux doesn’t work either! Every time you plug in your phone it says that the connection is unavailable! Do not waste your time and definitely do not waste your money.
