## Description

The Westinghouse WSnow22 Electric Snow Blower is designed to have the performance of a gas-powered machine, but with the ease of electric. The rubber-tipped durable steel auger safely clears an impressive path 22-inches wide and 13-inches deep in every pass, moving a cool 840 pounds per minute, throwing snow up to 25 feet away through the easily adjustable 180 degree directional chute. With a strong, low-maintenance push-button-start 120 Volt, 15 Amp electric motor, you can easily remove unlimited snow anytime without worrying about refueling with gas or recharging a battery. That’s a lot of power packed into an electric machine that’s quieter, lighter and more maneuverable than heavier gas-powered snow throwers, making the WSnow22 a perfect choice for snow removal for driveways, walkways, sidewalks, porches and decks. 7-inch snow-grabbing wheels for easy movement. Soft grip handle. Equipped with dual LED lights for winter nights. Now you can move snow easily with the Westinghouse WSnow22 corded electric snow blower. Just clear your path and enjoy the snow.

Review: Great Snowblower - No problems assembling snow blower. I run it on a large gauge chord so it’s not starved for power. Throws snow far, digs into deep snow without a problem cleans walks and driveways bare. Love this snowblower. I like it better than a gasoline powered snowblower. Headlights are bright and light up well in the dark. I’m 75 years old and I have no problem pushing it into deep snow, so not too heavy. Yes I recommend this snowblower blower and would buy it again. Great value! It is durable.
Review: Best value solution for snow removal - Bought this cause I didn't want the up front expense, maintenance costs/hassle, and larger storage footprint of a gas or battery electric snowblower when I got this to replace my unreliable gas model. Just got it, set it up pretty quick with zero tools, and took it outside for an overnight 6"ish snow, deeper in some areas for sure. I'm rather impressed. The throw distance wasn't super far, though that's not high priority for me and the snow was very wet and heavy. But it did a great job of sculpting through the snow and thoroughly removing it, and it's much more manueverable that what I had before or expected. I was prepared for the cord to be a bit of a hassle, but I've been using a cord on my leaf blower and I just decided it's worth the other benefits. But this snowblower does a great job of preventing the cord from disconnecting, which was impressive but simple. It's a total non issue. I also found it relatively easy to just sort of use. Almost like a whipping motion to move the cord out of my path as I took long passes. It sounds hard but I found it very easy surprisingly. The cord slides on the residual ice/snow in a way that makes it glide much easier than when I try the same on dry pavement with the leaf blower in the summer. And I have a long driveway and needed a 100' cord, which at 12 gauge (make sure you get the right cord for 15 amps!), in the cold, should have been very stiff but wasn't. I had stored the cord inside until I used it so it was warm and I think I might continue to do that so keep that in mind. These 12 gauge cords especially at 100 ft are really bulky but like I said it went smooth with this. Exactly what I hoped for so far. It's a wisely simple, quality effective product at an appropriately low price considering it's simplicity. Cord was like 50-60 bucks. Need a good spool for storage I think.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, but not Perfect
*by B***S on November 29, 2025*

I just used my new Westinghouse WSnow22 corded snow blower on our first snow of the season, and here is my review. I will largely compare it to a corded Greenworks snow blower that it is replacing. Assembly Overall, assembly of the snow blower was not difficult, and the instructions were pretty good. Unfortunately, the assembling it requires dealing with three plastic cable clips that are a poor and frustrating design. The clips on my Greenworks snow blower were a design of two C shapes back to back; one clips onto the handle of the snow blower and the other onto the cable. The clips for the Westinghouse are like the outline of an 8, so you have to put the cable into the clip and then put the clip onto the handle. Putting the clip onto the handle required bending the plastic of the clips so much that I was sure they were going to break at any moment. This is a poor design, and I don't see why they don't just skip the clips and include three zipties - it would have been much easier. Snow Blower Features and Use The Westinghouse WSnow22 had no problem with the slightly wet snow that I pushed it through. The snow was around 3" deep, but with drifting, in some spots it may have been 6-8" high. I had a little difficulty pushing it through the deeper areas, but the auger had no problem chewing through it. A few minor things on the Westinghouse could be better. The lights on the Westinghouse are on whenever the snow blower is running, but cannot be turned on otherwise, even if it is plugged in. The Greenworks has a switch for the lights and they can be on even if the auger is not running. This is useful when clearing snow in the dark, especially if you need to look at the condition of the sidewalk in front of the blower with the auger off. The handle of the Greenworks has a foam cushion on it similar to what you would see on a lawnmower. The Westinghouse has no cushion on the handle at all - you are grabbing onto tube steel directly. I did not have a problem with this in my first use of it, but after the second day of using it I could feel a sore spot starting to develop on my hands. I am already considering how I might be able to wrap the handle in something to help with this. The deadman switch on the Greenworks is a bar that extends the full width of the handle, like what you would see on a lawnmower. The deadman switch on the Westinghouse is a handle only on the right side - so you have no choice but to hold it with your right hand only. Did you want to use your right hand to adjust the rotation of the chute while running the snow blower, for example? Well, you can't. The chute angle adjustment on the Westinghouse requires you to stop the snow blower and go to the chute, loosen a knob, adjust the angle, and then tighten the knob again. There is no control from the main handle to adjust this. On the Greenworks, you can adjust the angle by simply squeezing a handle on the back of the chute, which is easier, but unfortunately the Greenworks design cannot withstand the force of the snow being thrown. If you have the angle set lower, the impact of the snow will eventually rattle the chute back up to the highest position. So far, the Westinghouse design is more durable, even if it is less convenient. The chute rotation on the Westinghouse is not as smooth as I would like. It requires a little bit of force to turn the handle to point the chute, and it only seems to move in notches, instead of smoothly. The Greenworks worked the same, from what I remember, but eventually the Greenworks mechanism got stuck in one position (pointed left) and fixing it required disassembling the snow blower. After it got stuck the same way shortly later, I left it that way. So far the chute on the Westinghouse has not gotten stuck and I was able to rotate it back and forth. If you are considering a single-stage, corded electric snow blower that is not self-propelled, this is a good option with no major flaws.
