It works as any standard RV gravity feed toilet connected to RV water source. It requires a pressurized water source. **Q: Dometic 300 installed now. Bolts to wall are 9 inches. Dometic 310 says 10 inches needed. Anyone find this fit okay?** A: It fit in main bathroom of my 2017 Jayco north point but not the 2nd. **Q: is the foot pedal on the right or the left, and can it be switched from the side it does come on?** A: It is on the right (facing toilet) as is the sprayer. This was due to a misunderstanding between the seller and Amazon, and the seller was very helpful. Turns out, I’m glad we didn’t have to deal with the sprayer. Installation was fast and easy and it works great! Never so happy about a new toilet! The old one in our RV was a plastic Thetford with a hand flush. It worked fine, but this is much better quality. I had a buddy with a camper that told me to add about 2 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap in with the water. It hasn’t leaked out since. I guess it helps keep the seal conditioned, so I keep a bottle of Dawn by the toilet and add it after each use. It’s been perfect ever since, my wife loves the sprayer and it’s a well built unit. As far as the valve goes, I’ve read that there’s suppose to be 4 screws in it? Mine only has 1 and there’s no more holes for any screws, but it was installed and tightened unlike the other reviews I’ve read about.
