Use Butter Yellow only on aluminum. It is not intended for use on any other metals or materials. Butter Yellow - Yellow 4A can change its shade depending on how the thickness of the anodizing surface and the duration of time in the dye bath. It can be a pale grayish yellow if you do a shorter anodizing cycle. For a longer duration in the anodizing bath and in the dye bath, Butter Yellow - Yellow 4A will look like rich, butter yellow.
