Because of the high cost of producing resveratrol from grapes, grape resveratrol is only available in the purity of 5%-8%. Japanese knotweed is available at purity of almost 100%. Beware of products labeled “Made with grape resveratrol.” Most of those products are worthless. Usually, a minuscule amount(a few milligrams) of low-purity grape, resveratrol is added to low-purity knotweed resveratrol, a product which is low in price but also ineffective. Its another marketing gimmick to intentionally mislead consumers for the sole purpose of monetary gain.
