Murder in a Cup

Awesome easy read full of action and romance. Amazing author. Have read every book and can’t wait for the next one.

I have liked both books in this series. This story is a continuation of the first one and Shay, the main character is feeling better about herself and her magic. This story take an ugly turn, when the girlfriend of the father of a young girl working in their tea shop is murdered. The father accuses his own daughter of the murder and accuses Shay of being a witch and causing his daughter to do so. From then on chaos is supreme, till Shay, and her friends and family help bring the real killer to justice. The plot is easily followed and straight forward, yet murky just enough for the reader not to guess who the real killer is till almost the end. I most definitely recommend this book and the first one.

Book 2 in this new series from Lauren. I enjoyed this very much. A little fantasy added to my favorite genre of cozy murder mysteries.
