I got our family's initial (N) as well as both my kid's initials (J&O). I liked the fact that the led bulbs are plastic which makes these ideal décor pieces for kids bedrooms. The letters take 2x AA batteries and there is an on/off switch located at the back of the letters. Each letters is approximately 22cm tall and the width and number of bulbs depends on the letters. I really like the rustic faux bronze finish and I don't think you'd be able to tell, at first glance, that these are made from plastic. They appear well made and sturdy and can stand unassisted.
