Easy to set up. The first try I knew it was defective. The dial to bring down the clamp that holds the paper would not turn past two turns. The clamp would not even close on my paper stack to hold them in place. It was so hard to turn that it flipped the whole cutter over when I was trying to turn it. I even loosened the screws to see if that helped and it did not. I am returning it and trying my original brand I ordered at my previous school.
