A good dashcam at a reasonable price.
This dashcam is quite well made and sits firmly on the dashboard. This eliminates any wires hanging down from a screen mounted dashcam. This dashcam can be mounted on the windscreen if desired. The picture quality is good and the controls are easy to use.

Car Dash Cam
Great little camera. I especially like the fact that I can place it on my dashboard rather than stick it onto the windscreen. Although it did come with a suction fitting that would allow that. The Gel pad that the camera sits on looks very flimsy but does it's job and holds the camera in place. Setting the camera up is simplicity itself. There aren't too many functions it just points along the road and loops the recording. All in all a camera for this money, you just can't go wrong.

screen display, power charger problems
Hi everybody.. why I am giving 3 stars at this moment ..i have problem with supplied in-car power charger for dash cam,it looks power cord not working properly.. when i do connect the dash cam to in-car cigarette socket, on camera screen display,in the bottom right corner battery-charging icon is flashing (not steady),so, as the result the screen display goes OFF after 1 minute of work, but is still recording video and if i carefully press any button the screen display comes ON.. this is how my new "Denicer" dash cam works in my car, but does the job, the only problem i have the screen display is always OFF and i have got any idea the dash camera working (recording video) on not while i am driving, to find out what is going on with my dash camera i have to press any button. but when i do connect the dash cam to my computer on the screen display bottom right corner battery-charging icon is steady (not flashing) and screen display never goes to sleep (OFF) and i can see at any time while dash cam in recording mode what is going on on the screen display..I am not very happy to find this problem in this product.. i will tell you more people, i am very disappointed.. one more last and very important thing: couldn't find any contact details of the seller.. and very ,very last thing: i had a bad feelings before i bought this Denicer dash cam, i simply couldn't believe that for this price you can get well made dash camcorder without any problems... camera cover made from cheap plastic , plus to that olb USB connection port, as the result low price.. i bought this dash cam as my first dash cam in my life, to try,to see how it works, what benefits i can get while using in-car video-recorder.. hope the seller will read my review and will contact my.. P.S apart from my problem, the Denicer dash cam works well, quite good video quality (picture), ease to use and navigate throughout the menu.. thanks for reading..Alex

Excellent dash cam for the price
The first thing to say is that the sticky mats supplied that are meant to facilitate dashboard mounting of the camera really don’t work. Screen mounting is the only stable fixing method. Using the plastic ‘crowbar’ tool supplied in the camera kit it took all of 10 minutes to lightly lever the power cable in behind my car’s window and door trim, and run it down to the cigarette lighter socket. There are videos on youtube that show you how easy it is to do this small job. Separately, I purchased a 32GB high endurance, class 10, U3, V30 speed rated microSD card. Two weeks on I’ve found the performance of the camera/card pairing to be excellent. The picture on the actual camera could do with being a little brighter for clarity which is why I’ve only given picture quality 4 stars. However, when connecting the camera to my MAC via the supplied USB cable or alternatively just plugging the memory card directly into the MAC’s SD card slot using the adapter that comes with the card the resolution of the video is excellent and audio is surprisingly clear. I’ve set my camera recording resolution to 1080FHD. The camera records to video files saved on the micro SD card and you can choose from 3, 5 or 10 minute file durations. For now I’ve gone with the default 3 minute option and this creates a file size of approximately 300MB (or 0.3GB). So there's space for over 100 of this size of file on a 32GB memory card before over-writing of the oldest file has to take place. This is my first dash cam purchase and I’m happy enough with it so far.

Stops recording at random for no reason.
The first unit I received was faulty as the internal battery would not charge so the unit reset everything including the time/date every time I turned it off. The suppliers replaced it promply which was good. The second unit seemed to work well and had excellent picture quality. Unfortunately after using it for a few weeks I realised it was not recording properly, For some reason it stops recording at random and this results in large gaps in recordings of trips I make. If you switch it off and on it starts recording again but this isnt a solution as you dont know that it has stopped recording until you replay the footage! A dashcam that only records random segments of a journey is no use to anyone so I am going to have to replace this with a different dashcam.

Good camera and good value for money.
Was looking for a value for money dash cam that actually can sit on the dashboard and not stuck onto windscreen. This fitted the bill. No faffing about with cables...able to utilise SatNav power lead. The link between the base and camera could have been slightly longer as picking up top of bonnet in shot; not a major issue, just cosmetic.Only niggle is that PC is unable to “see” camera, so not sure how I’ll get any software updates. Memory card fine using card reader. At the price, good value for money...and, thankfully, it is a DASH Cam and not a windscreen cam!!

Great value for money
Works really well, and doesn't look too horrific on the dashboard (I hate having things suction cupped all over the windscreen). Only gripe is that the viewing angle performance of the screen isn't great, and as it's effectively upside down when dash mounted you're at the range where the screen isn't very visible which is less than ideal for being able to see the camera status.Minor quibble though, it over all works brilliantly.
