Review: Saved me having to buy a new modem - I got the dreaded call at work - Modem is dead - won't power up - power cord tested "ok" - I got home after buying a new modem at Best Buy and on a whim used the power cord on my old modem on the off chance that the power supply was bad - I was happily surprised when my NetGear NightHawk powered right up. So ordered a new power supply - subpar modem returned to Best Buy - this power supply worked great for my Netgear cable modem.
Review: Doesn't fit what it says it does... - I purchased this as a replacement for my original cord that tore up, but the end of this one does not fit tight enough to stay plugged in to massager. It literally falls right out without being touched. I'm returning.

So ordered a new power supply - subpar modem returned to Best Buy - this power supply worked great for my Netgear cable modem.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powered a Processor Fine, 3A is a Beefy Output but They Claim "No Noise" but I Measured 500mv Noise

We used the Mareisa 12V Power Supply for our own project, not to power Netgear equipment. It is functional as a 12VDC AC converter for any equipment that requires 12V. This unit puts out a bit of power current at 3A vs. the 1.5 -2M one usually sees, which is probably why it's specified for Netgear routers and such. We powered a microprocessor, Arduino Nano, and the processor ran fine with this power supply. The voltage measured just over 12VDC while under load. We also measured about 500mv peak-to-peak of noise on the line. The webpage specifies "No Noise," which I call enthusiastic marketing and which is absurd or impossible to achieve. However, these small wall worts can have up to 1.2V peak-to-peak noise and still operate electronics fine, so 500mv noise is not bad. The voltage and current are clearly stamped on the body and also the country of origin.
