But really, I think that cushions and poofs are the best way to go for certain base products. They don’t soak up a ton of your makeup causing you to waste it. And you can really press the makeup into the skin to get that second skin look.Easy to wash, and cheap enough that you can throw them away when they start to break down, without breaking the bank as well. I also like that I can easily bring them along with me and my cushion foundation for on the go touch ups. The pointed end lets you get into the little nooks and crannies that can be missed with a simple round cushion. And the colorful pad gives you a little spot of fun in such a simple tool.A word of caution, do not put these back into the clear acrylic case without rinsing them first. I used one to touch up my sunscreen and didn’t rinse it off afterwards before returning it to the case. The cushion dried to the case and the pad tore when I removed it later. I’ve never had this happen when I used my cushion foundation.
