But... *by M***T on 12 September 2020* I got these to filter allergens and they do a good job of it. With the current hazardous air in the PNW in Sep 2020 due to all the west coast fires, I can attest to the fact that they filter most of the smoke smell out. Miraculous! The but comes into play when I talk about how easy it is to actually breath with them in. Which is just barely...Maybe my sinus passages are too inflamed already...but when I put these in, while I smell cleaner air, I can't get enough! I end up finding I've opened my mouth to catch a breath...which sort of defeats the purpose. Not the worst $13 experiment I've ever tried, but sadly I can't really recommend them even tho I gave them 4 stars.
