Rope going through turnbuckle had no issues compared to some I've used in the past where the rope would sometimes drift and snag between the side and the pulley wheel. Using to hoist items up to ceiling for storage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reasonable price for a block and tackle. *by S***T on December 31, 2024* Nice unit that works well. I states that a 3/8” rope will work. The rope suppled is 1/4” and works well. However, I needed the total length to go 20’ not the 8’ that is supplied. So I ordered enough 3/8” rope to do what I needed. This is easier on the hands to use. I immediately found out that it wouldn’t fit and do the job. Solution was to disassemble the pulleys and insert washers to increase the space between the pulleys. It works fine now.
