They didn't come with any type of planting or care instructions. That would of been nice. I had to search the internet for instructions. I believe your supposed to put them in a wet paper towel and in the freezer for a week or so to make them think its winter. Then you can plant them in a pot and then into the ground if you want. I will be starting mine very soon, as spring is this weekend 3-18-16 and its been warm all week here in VA. But they are calling for a cold weekend and possible snow on the first day of spring (Sunday). So I am waiting another week then starting them.
