Review: Sturdy and we'll made - Pleased with this trainer and the vender. Arrived quickly and very well packaged with no damage. Easy to assemble and works just as advertised. The only negitive comment would be its not as quiet as I would like. But all things considered its a nice trainer at a resingnable price. Intend to recommend to friends an family.
Review: Great trainer after initial setup - Setup: This took longer that it should have. As others have indicated, the holes where the main bolt is supposed to slide through (or thread through, doesn't matter neither worked) does not fit. The fix was to scrape out the excess paint with the side of flat head screwdriver. Spent 10 minutes trying to thread it and then force it before just scraping out the excess paint. Also, the nut that the reverse-threaded tension bolt screws into was a hassle to get aligned. This step took 20 minutes but seems to be a one time adjustment... if you're always using the same bike. After the initial setup, swapping the quick release and setting up the bike takes under 1 minute. My bike is a 29er Diamondback Overdrive mountain bike (700c rims). I recently replaced the knobby 55mm tires with 37mm commuter tires as I'm mostly on paved trails these days. Plus it makes for a quieter ride indoors. Noise: I measured the noise between 65-70 decibels (just below vaccuum cleaner or hair dryer level) when going 20mph+. This is extremely comparable to other fluid trainers, even at double the cost. I have my trainer setup in a finished/carpet basement so the noise is not a problem. No vibration. Is it going to be as quiet as a $1200 wahoo kickr, no. Ride: I find the ride to be incredibly smooth through all gears. IF I incorrectly adjust the tension knob, peddling can feel very unnatural and choppy - so you may need to play with it. The amount of resistance as you shift through the gears is more than adequate to get a difficult workout. The trainer itself feels very stable and sturdy. Overall: 4 stars. The setup should be easier - they could have designed a couple things better. But these were all short term problems that were solvable, at least with my bike and where I have it setup. If you're on the fence, watch more youtube videos on the different types of bike trainers to get a sense of what to expect. For the money I spent I'm satisfied.

**Q: Can I use this for bike with internal gear?**
A: I did not have to take any thing off my street bike just to attach it to the trainer. I can use my gears to adjust my speed and incline while paddling.

**Q: The skewer nut does not fit inside the non-drive side mount. Seems like a problem with the mount since I tried a different nut, which didn't work also**
A: While your question seems more like a comment than a question, I received mine 2 days ago and attempted to assemble it yesterday. The skewer is, in my personal experience, too short for the 29" mountain bikes they indicate it should fit. I am presently looking for a solution, but the company SHOULD include a longer skewer as it is impossible for the skewer they supplied to live up to their advertised claims. Theirs falls short of being able to handle a 7.8 inch frame as their advertising indicates.

**Q: My quick release skewer snapped at the connection after a month and a half. Is it possible to get a replacement under warranty? If so, how?**
A: my first skewer snapped upon first usage.  They were good about replacing but it took 2 weeks to get it.

**Q: Is it possible to get a replacement skewer/ nut that comes with this unit? Thank you**
A: this seems to be an issue with this trainer.  I snapped mine at first usage.  I read that another purchaser had this same issue.

Update 2-26-23: had an issue with the unit, contacted the seller and got excellent support and follow up. Original review July 2022: Was easy to assemble and the bike for right into the unit. Few small adjustments to get the right tension on the tire but it's stable and allows your to change gears and it generates resistance as you pedal faster. Met my needs to get aerobic exercise using my own bike without leaving the yard or house. At high speed it does generate a whirring sound do would not suggest using it in the middle of the night if there are others in the same room trying to sleep.
