It is slow moving and features really bad quality filming, but the creepy main actor, absurd editing and preposterous situations (especially the prisoner/maid who is "tortured" with a dead mouse and a whistle) were so hilarious that I could not take my eyes away. For anyone who enjoys bad horror/scifi, highly recommended. For anyone who will take it seriously, perhaps take a pass. The War of the Robots was incredibly boring, I am not sure how I made it through and yet I did. The real gem in this collection is It's Alive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow. I see now where Steven Spielberg got his idea for Jurassic Park. He totally ripped off this movie! The acting is absolutely sublime.Unhinged bumpkin Greely (Billy Thurman) has two companions: Bella (Annabelle MacAdams), a young woman he's kidnapped, and a huge monster that lives in a cave near his rural home. The monster typically eats animal flesh, but when strangers -- a vacationing couple, Norman (Corveth Ousterhouse) and Leilla (Shirley Bonne), and paleontologist Wayne (Tommy Kirk) -- wander onto his land, Greely fixes to give his bucktoothed buddy a human treat. Unless they escape, the four abductees will be supper.The character of Greely plays a very satisfying madman. He is able to torture and subdue poor Bella with just a dead mouse! Wow...what skill! Quite a limber fellow as well. Running down the stairs laughing on more than one occasion, yet keeping his balance. I would have to compare Billy Thurman's performance, to that of James Gandolfini. Lots of parallels between Greely and Tony Soprano for sure! ### ⭐⭐⭐ This movie reminds me of one that would be on "Mystery Science 3000". *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 15, 2015* This is an Italian movie released in 1978. It has so so English dubbing. The special effects are also so so also. Essentially the plot of the movie are 2 geneticists from Earth are kidnapped by aliens who need their help. The government of Earth sends people to rescue them and that leads to the war mentioned in the title. Basically there's no reason to give a detailed plot of the movie. I watched it all the way through, it wasn't great but it did entertain me for some reason.
