Charges slow, meaning a good charge is being made for said item in use. That being said, use a shorter cable to charge items. Longer cable means more length of current to charge. The random flashlight makes this item an item to bring in the car, but I don't think you want to keep batteries in your car. Which this item is. The item is heavy but will fit well in any console and or cup holder. The casing feels thick, have not dropped the item but it feels as if it will be protected if so. The built in flashlight is basic. Probably as strong as your phone. That being said this can be mounted well enough for emergency light to change a tire. I charged a phone to 100 percent, and I believe only lost ten percent charge.
