The steel may or may not be real D2, but it sharpens and holds an edge reasonably well. Rides comfortably in my pocket (very important to me) and does what I need it to do. This knife is NOT a cold steel or benchmade, but it's less than 30 bucks and is very serviceable. Plus, with the orange paint it looks like a plastic toy and so I don't worry about freaking out my coworkers if I get it out to open a box at work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent fit and finish *by J***B on March 19, 2024* Beautiful knife, lightweight, sharp, flips open and closed smooth as glass. Thin slicey blade. Handle G10 nicely textured and fits the hand well. Designed by Benchmade but well executed by Huaao. Blade centered, pocket clip small but mighty. I would dare say the craftsmanship on this and other Huaaos l have purchased is at least as good if not better than Benchmades in my possession.
