We set this up in the basement of the house we moved into because we have no attic. All of our stuff from our old house went into this 'attic' space in the corner of the basement. It is adjustable and leaves no marks on the ceiling. Please note that it DOES NOT come with curtains to be used. I ended up buying flat sheets and used those as dividers. I don't think it comes with curtains/dividers so I wouldn't call them 'missing parts'. Personally, I think they are a good value for the money.
