I am a T1D and it held my snacks and diabetic stuff perfectly and had room for a portable frig in one mesh pocket and my water bottle in the other. I really loved the pocket in the front for my phone. Was so convenient to pull out for pictures while walking. And the hooks on the zipper handles to lock them together were strong and great for times on the bus to secure wallet inside. I placed it in my roller bag and pulled it out whenever I hit town. The sling was easy to adjust and I really liked the security features (I used it in the subways of many cities known for pickpockets). It held a lot more than I anticipated, which made it great when I did a little shopping while walking around. The only drawback is the pouch on the front of the sling, which I used for carrying my sunglasses. It could use one more security zip on the zipper that is on the outside center of the pack (which would also be the easiest to steal from, so don't place anything valuable in that pocket.
