The pajamas are roomy but they fit across the top and around the waist. The adjustable straps on the top helped get a good fit and I am glad that the slides don't bother me at all while I'm wearing it.I would rather have something with capri length legs over shorts, but I'm not running into any of the usual problems I have with sleeping in shorts. No bunching or twisting when I roll over.Washed twice so far and line dried. The shorts are a bit long - good for those who want to cover more. I actually haven't worn them, but wear pj shorts I found at Walmart with the top. The material is very soft and comfy.
