They don't seem quite the same but the ones I'd been using had been used so long they were falling apart, so who knows what they were like years ago. They feel a bit rough until you put them in water and then they're soft and perfect. I use them every morning and they're dry within hours which is huge when you're traveling. I can't recommend these highly enough. Review: Excellent - I use these nightly for makeup removal and at first touch, thought it was way too abrasive and scratchy. However, once it’s wet and combined with cleanser, it’s just enough to exfoliate gently and removes any makeup and dead skin on my face.
