I installed from the bottom on drivers side cause I had the exhaust out anyhow. NO you don’t need angled plug wire boots. The boots are long anyhow. Pull the wire back in the boot(wd-40 helps), cut the excess boot off. Use a spare plug as a reference on how much to cut off. I didn’t cut them all off. I used new OEM wires.
