It spiralizes apples, potatoes, carrots, raddish,  and much more.This can save tons of time making certain types of asian side dishes. If you know asian food, you'll know what I mean. There is a suction on the bottom of the machine that prevents it from moving around while you are spiralizing your fruit or veggie.I am not a cook. I don't cook much at all, but this spiralizer is fun to use. The first time I got it, I wasted some fruits just to play around with it !lol. It's like an adult version of my kids toys. I actually have fun with itMy favorite is the curly fries. I don't know why fries just taste better when they're curly.Every single blade attachment is stored. And labeled. No pieces are loose....that's good because it's not sloppy. It's very convenient because you can choose your desired blade, just snap it in, and then take your fruit or veggie and place it back against the round pad with spikes to hold the fruit or veggie in place as you push and spiralize towards the blade.Also, the set comes with a brush that you can use to clean all of the parts but easily cleans off with water.Overall. This will make a good gift! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great thing for creative cooking *by 5***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 17, 2018* After my friend has been talking about this thing for several months now,I decided to order this food spiralizer for our 10 y.o. family cook.As soon as the package arrived, dear son was so inspired, that he decided to bake an apple-ice-cream pie right away.And oh my, do we appreciate this kind of inspiration!On a practical side, the unit was extremely easy to assemble and use:basically suck the base to the counter, select and insert the blade, stick a veggie/fruit in, push and rotate,and a masterpiece almost effortlessly is born right away.What is also important for me, that there will be no occasional cuts:the blades are safely stored in a separate container and several most used blades can be stored in the special spot inside the unit itself.Dear son chose a wavy blade for his apple pie filling, it was not such a good idea, because his apple lost his shape during cooking.Great experience for our 10 y.o. gourmet and a great family experience anyways.However, I would recommend using blades with fancy shapes for veggies/fruits you intend to eat raw, slightly cook to a crisp consistency (e.g. stir-fry) or on denser vegetables (e.g., carrots) if you are going to cook it thoroughly.All in all a great thing that turns cooking into an adventure and boring meals into a 5-star restaurant experience.Not to mention inspire young minds :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Quick, easy and fun *by P***4 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 14, 2018* I have used all of the various attachments and for the most part I have found it fairly easy to use, easy to clean up, and with the 7 different blades, useful for a large variety of cutting options.First of all I used the 3 blades for doing both yellow and green squash , the, angel hair., spaghetti and fettuccine as a substitute for pasta, going from extremely fine to somewhat wide, and it turned out great giving you a great tasting dish( you can simply use oil and garlic or butter), or a red sauce of your choice) without the carbs. It allows you to cook something extremely quick to relatively fast. I also did carrots and cabbage for coleslaw, using the spaghetti blade. I also used the coarse wavy blade to make fries, which cook very quickly. Finally I used the blade ribbons and fine wavy blade ribbons to do cukes in various thicknesses.
