Perfect for Storage & Beautiful!❤️
I really love my cabinet! It took me a few days to put together since I did most of it alone. You’ll likely need help turning it over as well as standing it up when you get to those steps. It went smoothly for the most part. If you try to do it all in one setting it might stress you out, but it’s easy if you just follow the instructions and really pay attention to the diagrams and check them off as you complete them, doing the work over a few days. Based on several bad reviews I was nervous but mine came with only 2-3 very small dings in the wood that you can barely notice and as for the uneven cabinet issue people mention… my cabinet doors are straight because I had someone hold the cabinet up and I also put a small piece of folded cardboard from the box up under it while the person was holding it in place as I screwed in each door hinge taking care to not over screw so the door would stay put where the door could easily open and close. If you over screw it, the door moves out of place and out of alignment.I did have to make a run to Lowes to get a drill bit and a drill. Using an electronic drill with the Phillips head really helped on most of the screws (on low power and not over doing it because you can destroy the screw top or strip the screw. I had to buy a replacement screw when I did that!) trying to use a basic screw driver was a very tough task that required more strength (maybe because I’m a woman, lol) but either way I chose to work smarter not harder so the electric route made everything go a lot smother and faster for sure. You’ll also need a hammer for at certain times as well.I’m very happy with the heaviness and overall quality of the cabinet and it looks more expensive than it is. Classy piece of furniture that works well in the living room, bedroom, basement or wherever you put it as long as it’s up against a wall. I got the dark cabinet and everyone who sees it just loves it and ask where I got it. The storage capacity and possibilities are truly endless! Your home can be more clean, organized and minimalist with this cabinet. I’m glad I ignored the bad reviews this time! Lol. 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am in love with this cabinet
I was a bit hesitant at first because I saw a lot of damaged product reviews, but since this cabinet is exactly what I was looking for I decided to give it a try and hope luck was on my side. I have to say, I declare myself a total Sauder Fan! I am impressed with the quality of this (and other thin cabinet that matches the set). I bought 3 cabinets (this large one + 2 thin ones) and I am absolutely in love with it.Pros:-It was VERY WELL packaged. I personally didn't have any problems with the product out of the box. No scratches or whatsoever.-Has a beautiful contemporary style-Lots of storage, perfect for a pantry cabinet!-Sturdy: stands up well, you can adjust the legs on each side if needed.-VERY EASY to build. I have to say. The instructions were very easy to understand, and you don't really need help. I am a lady (writing from Hubby's account) and I built it on my own. It took me about 2 hours because I was fooling around with my dog being in the way :) I only used help to line up the doors and have my hubby help me move it and flip it around so it wouldn't scratch.Cons:Honestly, I only found one thing to list in cons -if that- and is that the finish WILL scratch if you are NOT careful when building it, if you are careful with the pieces and don't drop anything you SHOULD be fine. It happened to me that I got careless and dropped one piece on top of another (maybe a 10 inch drop) and it did scratch the finish some but nobody else to blame there but me. I just list it as a con because it can be very delicate since it's still press wood with a veneer, so if you scratch that veneer, well, it won't look the best.In overall I am VERY pleased with this product and I will buy Sauder products again given the chance.. 10/10!

Good cabinet for a pantry.
We will use this cabinet as a kitchen pantry, since our house doesn't have a pantry closet. We bought it to replace our old one which was smaller and less sturdy. It took approximately 8 hours for my very capable 10-year-old and me to put together. This was not our first time assembling furniture, but it was definitely the most complicated one we've attempted. The instructions were mostly easy to follow. It was sometimes unclear which direction things like shelves should go, and we did have to take the door with the shelves apart, reverse the shelves and put it back together. Parts were labeled adequately. The assembly was fairly straightforward, although I don't understand why there were some spots with pre-drilled pilot holes for screws, and some spots where you had to make the pilot hole yourself. It doesn't recommend using an electric screwdriver, but if you put it on a low speed and use it carefully, it is immensely helpful. The twist-lock fasteners were more cheaply made than the ones I remember from assembling Sauder products in the past - if I'm recalling correctly, they used to be metal but now are mostly plastic, and they weren't as easy to tighten. There was some damage to the top molding - at first I thought it was some kind of tape residue but then realized it was actual damage to the veneer. I was able to order a replacement from Sauder's website and I will report back if I have any problems with that.Overall, a good product and it looks really nice, and will look even better when we can replace the top molding. I chose the color I thought most closely matched the wainscoting and chair rails in our kitchen, and it turned out to be really close. It holds all of our food with room to spare. I thought long and hard before giving this product 4 stars rather than 5, but the difficulties with assembly and the disappointing quality of the fasteners swayed me. I would still recommend this cabinet to those who have intermediate assembly skills.

Great storage space
This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It was easy to assemble and the directions were clear and easy to follow. Definitely a task for 2 people...but it was quick and easy.

Es buen mueble pero uno de los entrepaños viene dañado. No meInteresa devolver todo, solo que me envíen el entrepaño que sustituya al dañado (ver última foto), ya que tiene un dobles que no debería tener

Little chips off the finish everywhere
It is a beautiful cabinet, exactly what I need for storage.Very disappointed with the delivery, it looked like it had been on a truck and right in the way for a very long time. That fact may have been the reason for the number of marks on the cabinet, or maybe it was just a poor finish. Either way I have about 8 blemishes on my new cabinet, not huge but definitely noticeable. Unfortunately I needed it asap and it is quite heavy so returning it would also have been awkward and frustrating. If I had not had these problems I would rate it a 5 and change value for the money to a 5. Ease of assembly, well we had issues with the boards lining up as intended so the 3 remains.

It’s great but….
I like it a lot. It didn’t show up damaged like some of the other reviewers mentioned. When it’s in the box it is super heavy so be careful trying to move it. It’s big so make sure have adequate room to build it. Like the other reviewers, it did take a long time to build! My husband said it was pretty straight forward instruction wise. All the screws and stuff are in a labeled bag.The only problem I have is with the door that has the shelving on it. We’ve had this unit for a month now and the door is no longer on straight. I attached a picture so you can see what I mean. Now the bottom of the door hits the edge and the bottom. I didn’t notice when I first closed the door today(July 26) so there is a scratch on the bottom from me trying to close it a few times. I will see if my husband can do anything without taking the whole door apart. I might just have to live with it
