They are great at stopping knees getting hurt, both while doing drills, or in game play and they are about a 3rd of the price of the more ‘professional’ types, so a great investment when you’re new to a sport. Even though they are still working fine, albeit obviously scratched a lot, I have just retired them, because as I’ve toned my muscles they’re too loose and had started to side down. I moved to a different ergonomic designed type this time, purely because I play a lot more brutally now.

I looked for ages for a set of knee pads at a reasonable price and these, for the money, are great pads! sizing was a little tricky, few factors play a part I realised, like how you are going to mostly wear them (bare legged or over clothes) I'm right inbetween sizes so I went with the size up in the end. You want them snug but not cutting off the circulation. They are comfortable with a good range of movement, low profile but wide on the knees so very occasinlonally catch the edges when i skate, but great coverage for when you fall on them. They look good as well. Given me alot of confidence getting back into skating. Definitely recommend these!
