In personal use, one of the two tumblers initially leaked because its lid lacked an extra rubber ring around the middle edge, but desertcart replaced it, and now both lids are leak‑free. Heat retention The tumbler has only been used with hot liquids so far, and its insulation is excellent. After filling it with freshly boiled water and leaving the lid and straw opening completely closed, the water was still too hot to drink even six hours later. Design and value The base of the tumbler is narrower than the upper body, which allows it to fit into standard car cup holders without issue. Considering it costs less than half the price of many big‑name tumblers while offering comparable performance, it represents very good value.

**Q: is it dishwasher safe**
A: The lid is dishwasher safe. It is recommended that you hand wash the steel cup body. The rounded interior corners make it easy to clean.

**Q: Has anyone reviewed this product without getting an inducement by a lower price?**
A: I paid full price, didn't even know about "Yeti" cups at the time. Had been using old fashioned Thermos to keep drinks cold. Thermos works well, but prefer the simple lid with straw on this cup, plus I wanted it to fit in my cup holder. I LOVE this cup! It really keeps my ice tea cold all day long. Ice will still be in the cup at the end of the day.  Even keeps drinks cold when I'm shopping in the summer and have to leave my drink in the hot car.

**Q: Where is this cup made?**
A: The tumbler is made in China and inspected in the U.S.

**Q: Does it come with the straw**
A: Mine did NOT come with the straw or cleaner. Maybe different vendors have different options but I just ordered mine from “Arctic” — so who knows. It has an annoying flip top type lid that hits your nose when you drink.
