It folds down easily for loading in to the car. I needed a lightweight option because my caregiver can't lift a traditional wheelchair and this chair fit the bill. He's a thin guy and the 16" inch seat was perfect for his body frame. At first glance it may seem like the wheelchair may be a little uncomfortable but once you sit down it's comfortable! My brother looks like his body is more aligned and straight in comparison to his previous transport chair. We did have to remove the piece of fabric on that was on the footrests because his feet wouldn't fit/rest properly. Other than that my brother loves it ! He likes the short armrest because he can get closer to the table at restaurants.
