Someone actually gave some thought to this grill when making it. The charcoal stays lit the whole time which I have always had a problem with, having to prop open the lid to keep the charcoal going. Not with this grill. The vents open and close easily because someone thought of using screws that cannot be tightened down all the way leaving some slack for the vents to move. When the vents are closed it goes out quickly and saves charcoal for the next time. I would say the only negative is no handles to move it when its hot, and the latch that holds it closed not that great if you leave charcoal in it when travelling. The main thing though, is it cooks great. The package was missing two screws, which I needed to secure the vent and the handle.
