Review: I was hesitant to try, but it turns out it's amazing afterall. - I've been debating on this wallet over The Ridge. For those who are worried about the quality differential over Fidelo's cheaper cost, don't worry. Fidelo wallet delivers and it's quality is pretty damn nice. Here are my personal thoughts on this wallet. Just a quick FYI, I have it setup like this: - Grey Metal cover - Money clip on one side for cash - Cash strap on the other side for receipts - 8 cards in the middle. GOOD QUALITY - I was worried if the finishing touches are going to be inferior to what I would have gotten from more expensive wallets like The Ridge. However the edges are nicely trimmed and there are no sharp corners. The money clip is nice and strong, the cash strap has a polka dots of rubberized grip embedded on the inner side for whatever you decide to slip in. Depends on what you slide, it could be difficult since the rigidity of paper materials like a receipt wouldn't be strong enough to squeeze by the rubberized grip. ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE - For the price of $53 (which what I paid at the time of the review) you get a wallet, three front plates (grey metal, black metal, and carbon fiber), 2 pair of straps plus 2 back up straps (2 for holding cards and 2 more cash straps), and 2 money clips (if you wish to use two money clips at once.) Also comes with a star shaped head screw driver, spare tip, and even spare screws. VERTICAL PULL - I like the vertical pull design over The Ridge's horizontal pull. I like that I can comfortably grip my wallet with one hand vertically and push from the bottom to eject the cards, versus The Ridge holding awkwardly top and bottom to push out the cards. This makes easy for me to pull out cards and insert back quickly. OBVIOUS DOWNSIDE - Money clip isn't the best way to carry cash obviously. It sorta slows you down and exposes of the cash amount to public. I can't imagine carrying more than 10 bills at a time since folding three times already makes the stack too fat for the money clip. The cards in the middle are more difficult to pull out, but a little trick that I do with this wallet is to push all the cards out and fan them out by pushing away horizontally. That way the cards are more visible and you can pull out a bit better. Also if you decide to carry receipts on the cash strap, you'll have to fold down your receipts tiny and this will obviously trouble you when you're organizing. But by the time you're looking at wallets like Fidelo or The Ridge, you're obviously willing to take such inconvenience factors. Here are some installation tips if you decided to purchase: - There are 6 ways you can configure this wallet. 1. Plain w/o any attachments. 2. Money Clip only 3. Cash strap only. 4. 2 Money Clips 5. 2 Cash straps 6. 1 Money clip & 1 cash strap. - Initial straps are setup to be pretty tight. If you decide to use more than 3 cards, this could trouble you on removing cards from the wallet. A good way to stretch out the strap so cards sit comfortably is to remove the face plates, insert all your cards to the wallet, and then install the face plates back. This way the strap is stretched out to your card configuration and installing the plates will secure your strap tightly in that loose setup. - When installing Cash Strap, try installing them on the opposite side where the wallet strap has sewn, which reduces the tension the face plate has to endure when tightened with screws. Install the money clip on that side instead. Overall I'm very happy with the product. I'll try to do an update in a bit and see if I noticed any more issues with it.
Review: Typical Fidelo quality with a major surprise - This is my second Fidelo minimalist wallet. I bought my first version about 8 years ago, and it was just the two plates and elastic band version. A few days ago the band finally let go, which is astounding after the 8 years of abuse I put it through. Obviously, I decided to upgrade to the next Gen model for my replacement instead of getting a free replacement band. I am VERY glad I did! Just the first impressions confirmed my choice was going to be the best for me and my needs. Where my first Fidelo wallet was just the wallet and an extra band (that I lost years ago) this version came with the wallet, 3 extra bands, the tool holder and bit for the screws, a small container with spare screws and a spare bit, and an extra money clip! Definitely surprised me to get everything I could need to get my wallet back to work in the event I needed it. Well done again, Fidelo! As fsr as the functionality, my old version held everything I threw in it and never failed. When it finally let go I counted 16 cards stuffed in it. The new wallet holds the 12 cards I decided to keep very comfortably, and the money clip is an addition I didn't know I really needed until now. If you're looking for an RFID minimalist wallet that keeps up with your needs, look no further and buy with confidence here. Wonderful product!

I've been debating on this wallet over The Ridge. For those who are worried about the quality differential over Fidelo's cheaper cost, don't worry. Fidelo wallet delivers and it's quality is pretty damn nice. Here are my personal thoughts on this wallet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Forget The Ridge

A friend of mine owns "The Ridge" and (as you may know) it costs 5x's as much as the FIDELO. First impression, the FIDELO is superior because of it's portrait design. I can easily get all the cards I need without having to fan-out and pick through my cards. Seriously, forget The Ridge. This one costs much less and works better than any slim wallet I've ever used. The finish on the aluminium plates is gorgeous and I have yet to scratch it with daily use (although, I think it would look great either way). Even after 5 months of use, the bands feel like-new and show no sign of fraying, and the FIDELO comes with a spare in the box (unlike the aforementioned). I can honestly say (besides titanium or steel outer-plates which is really just a gimmick) the quality feels equal to The Ridge, and the design feels unique enough, and works better, than that of The Ridge. The FIDELO does not feel like a knock-off, but rather, a unique product. Seriously, get one (or five).
