First off, i don’t recommend using gripe water or gas drops if it’s really not necessary for the child in the first place as the EU doctors have mixed feelings about these ingredients for newborns, but if worse comes to worse and you need it then you need it. I honestly tried these with my first child and they were absolutely useless. Did nothing to relieve gas and did not help at all with colic. I will say, I gave it another try with my second child now and it surprisingly had the opposite effect and worked now... so all I can say is it really just depends on your kiddo. I used it now the second time when my son was experiencing a lot of gas issues around 3 weeks. We gave it to him the first time and he slept until his next feeding with no issues. We continued to give him a dose at each feeding and so far it has done him wonders. I can’t complain because it makes me happy to see him pain free after eating. As far as the ingredients go - I’m fairly happy with how simple they are and overall do not cause any major issues from them being in my little guys tummy. Don’t get discouraged by the negative comments on here and give it a shot you never know if it might help. I usually don’t give it to my kiddo straight because he does not like the flavor and spits it up. I usually put it in his formula when he eats to help him take it down.
