The fabric containing the desiccant silica gel is sturdy to prevent leakage of any silica beads. I like that these are food safe (I also use them for non-food items) and use only food safe desiccants so that I don’t need to keep track of which desiccant packs are safe for foods. These are fairly expensive but given they can be recharged and that they are food safe, they are a good value. 5 stars IMHO.
