**Q: How long does it take turned the water worse than before and 2 weeks later nothing but murky water**
A: Sorry, this was not my experience. It might help if I explain that before I used the Sludge Bomb I cleared a lot of excess oxygenating weed and other plants from the pond and then I used the Aqua Pure Bomb by the same company. Within a week this had clarified the murky water, so that I could see a lot of sludge on the bottom of the pond. Then I discovered the Sludge Bomb and this was very effective in clearing most of the sludge and improving the ph of the pond, and the water became crystal clear - within a week I believe. I can only describe what happened in my pond; I am sorry your experience has been different.

**Q: How often can i treat pond with it**
A: I do mine once a week if it's bad.  You can use them as often as you need.

**Q: Would this item work on a pond that does not have a filter?**
A: I do not think it would work as well, as there would be no mechanism to distribute the Sludge Bombs active contents evenly around the pond.  Hope this answer was helpful.

**Q: I was going to use this to clear my pond but instead chose to drain and clean it out.  Will this make a good starter instead?**
A: I am a user of SLUDGE BOMB for my large pond, which suffers from this problem.  However the idea of draining, then cleaning all sludge and residue of unwanted leaves etc.. is in my mind a far better solution.  A lot of work I imagine.  If I had the temerity and energy to do so, I would do the same..  This in my mind is the best solution of all.
