Its an excellent piece of kit, you have to get used to it because the metal tip is angled so there is a knack to getting Staples out but once you have mastered it, Its really useful. The handle is a very sturdy piece of wood which fits perfectly in your hand, I have re-upholstered 4 dining chairs and 2 lounge wicker chairs. Good sharp ends works nicely There’s 2 blades on this and you can work your way along lifting and loosening as you go then finish with some pincers Nice tool I use everyday and is standing up to west and tear quite well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy piece of equipment *by J***H on 5 October 2020* I bought this to remove staples and tacks from some dining chairs I wanted to recover. I found it a little difficult to get the edge of the tool under the staples but once I had achieved this, the staples did come out, you have to be careful not to break the staple as you are taking it out, otherwise you need a pair of pliers to remove the broken staple. I could not get the hang of taking tacks out and just used the pliers.
