Installation was as simple as downloading the drivers, clicking for installation and plugging it in. Once installed, the it is a joy to use. I had it up and running in 3 minutes.The A30 is very responsive and has a large working area. It uses USB 3.0 and comes with the cable. Connectivity is not problem as it is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. It has 4 programmable shortcut buttons to speed up workflow. Also, set in the middle of those buttons, is a touch area for zoom which has been extremely useful. I spend most of my time in Photoshop and that control serves as a very quick zoom in/out PLUS a quick brush size increase/decrease. Being able to do both without having to look or reposition my hand has been far more useful than I thought. Simply swipe left/right or swipe up/down.The pressure sensitivity is excellent and in the software you can customize the curve to fit your style. The pen is nearly the perfect size and lots of extra nibs are included. It is a bit light for my preference and is not rubberized but that is not a deal-breaker for me. The surface is very satisfying to draw on, just the right amount of friction.In short, this tablet is a winner. It is great for drawing or editing on the go and works far better than anything should at this price. It is a great low cost option for professionals as well as students and those just starting out. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2018* TLDR: Honestly, I was greatly surprised by the quality of this tablet right out of the box. It is well packaged and the tablet is very sturdy and good quality. The pen is not great and the tip is too rubbery for my taste. The pen can also come apart if too much pressure is applied, although it appears to be designed that way and can be easily reassembled. However, it just feels like a prototype as far as the software goes. The software is buggy and does not feel like it was legitimately tested for any length of time. I would ask the developers to spend more time on it and polish it more before releasing it to the public. (Dumb users will always find a way to break a program, even if the programmer can't)Pros:The packaging is fairly high quality and the contents are well organized and presented.The tablet itself feels very high quality and is built with good materials, does not feel flimsy or creak(y) very solidTablet uses USB C! This was a huge plus for me. Other usb types (mini & micro) tend to break easily if you bend them the wrong way.Large real estate to work with, texture of pad is a soft matte.All buttons on pad and pen are re-mapable and the tablet interface is clean and comprehensive. (hotkey maping use some work)Cons:Pen comes apart if tip is pressed in hard enough. (discovered in an attempt to test pressure sensitivity)Had to troubleshoot because pen did not have pressure sensitivity out of the box and it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. (It never ended up working)Thumb buttons interact with software in unintended ways, sometimes leading to annoying brush switching in certain programs.Touch sensitive buttons on tablet are hard to see in low light and (although they are remappable) tend to be more of a hindrance than a benefit. (I really like the idea though)Downloading the drivers was sketchy. I decided to explore the VEIKK website because i felt i was getting too good of a deal on this tablet and you can often tell how legitimate a website is by its harder to find content. At first glance, it looks pretty good, a little buggy but nothing horrible. I explored and found a fake blog on the site that reminded me of fake 5-star product reviews on scam amazon products. Overall, I just felt uncomfortable downloading their software because the site doesn't feel finished to me.The rubber nib for the pen tip is a little too rubbery and can cause the pad to feel inconsistent in texture when pressure is applied. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2019* My daughter got it because she’s gotten super into drawing.
