It is very comfortable being used with an iPhone X (with a skinny case). Only draw back I have found is that the size runs a little big, but I have not washed it yet to see if it "shrinks/tightens". I purchased the Medium since my relaxed bicep measures between 11-11.5". This is at the high end of the medium scale, but the arm band could still be a little tighter. However, the arm band does not slip. I recommend if you like a very tight arm band (worn on bare arm) to look at possibly getting one size smaller especially if you are in the low end of the size scale. With Amazon's return policy, it only would cost you a couple days and a little effort if you need to choose a different size.
