Instead of having to buy a whole new pair of shoes like I did last year, I bought these caps in both black and brown. They come in different sizes to fit the type of heel. It takes a few days for the cap to sit fully on the heel without falling off while you are resting (if you have your legs crossed and one shoe sitting in the hair verses on the floor. Most comparable products cost at least double. There are 5 sizes, to fit different size heels. I got these for my friend for her wedding. However, the smaller ones fell off her shoes but lasted a good bit into the wedding. The nude color is nice for white/light colored shoes. I probably wouldn't prefer this color on a black pair. They do perform as expected, but I guess if they are a little loose then they will fall off. I'm not sure what you could do to fill in the extra space if the small wasn't small enough... I think they were worth the money and peace of mind for a day.
